ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Tanya. But to the kids, I’m Mama Queen.

Mama Queen’s Safe House was born from a promise I made deep in my spirit: that no child that came into my life would ever feel alone, forgotten, or unworthy.

Because I saw kids, real kids I already know and care about, falling through the cracks. Not because they weren’t smart or good or full of potential, but because they didn’t have the stable love and structure they deserved.

For years, I’ve seen what consistent love and stability can do in a Child’s life, and iv’e seen what happens when that’s missing. And I just couldn’t turn my back.

I didn’t plan to build something official. I just kept showing up, kept loving, kept fighting for them. And over time, that quiet love turned into something powerful. A home. A movement. A mission.

Mama Queen’s Safe House isn’t just what I do, It’s who I am.

Now, I’m continuing to grow Mama Queen’s Safe House with care. I’m pursuing more training, building a support network, and inviting others to walk this path with me.

Because healing happens in community, and our kids deserve nothing less.
